Some are illustrated text books and others are packed with many and varied images.&nbsp; Both types have provided useful to me whilst adding detail to the site \u2013 especially when it comes to vehicle history, locations (where I can\u2019t quite remember!) and dating some of my own images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More specialist books published by the PSVCircle or Southdown Enthusiasts Club have also been invaluable in researching vehicle history, particularly some of the finer detail during the period covered by this website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The list below is not exhaustive or a definitive list of books on the subject, they are the ones I have dipped into to a greater or lesser extent when researching the history of the vehicles illustrated on the site, and more generally in my interest in the Company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><a><u>Southdown Motor Services Ltd Fleet History 2PKI<\/u> <\/a>(1972) Covering the fleet from inception 1915 to 1935.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><kbd><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Southdown Motor Services Ltd Fleet History 2PKII<\/span><\/kbd> (1974) Covering the fleet from 1936 to 1974.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><kbd><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Southdown Motor Services Ltd Fleet History 2PKIII<\/span><\/kbd> (1986) from 1969 to 1986 and Brighton Hove &amp;
